Company History

Consistency as a trademark

1986	Foundation of the company – start-up idea: automatic assembly of seals in or on components
1990	Entry of the first apprentice as industrial mechanic. Since then, almost 70 apprentices have successfully completed the examinations held by the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) and have been employed. Most of them are still employed at the company today
1991	Relocation to the present-day company headquarters: An der Haar 27-31, 59519 Möhnesee-Wippringsen
1997	Expansion of the production area
1999	Expansion of national and international sales activities
2001	Construction of a new production hall for metal-cutting production on an acquired neighbouring property
2008	The sales department moves into the completely renovated building on another former neighbouring property
2011	Celebrations on the occasion of the 25th company anniversary
2013	Purchase of a further neighbouring property, including a further office wing and halls
2014	Extensive modernisation of the newly acquired buildings and departmental occupation
2015	The future-oriented structural extensions to the company premises have been completed. State-of-the-art lighting technology and generous space planning create a production-oriented environment for employees and customers alike. The production and assembly areas are equally well suited for small assembly devices as well as larger systems. The new building complex includes part of the warehouse, machining production, purchasing and accounting / human resources. The space thus freed up is now fully available for our installation activities.
2016	30 years of OHRMANN MONTAGETECHNIK
2017	Repeated award as family-friendly company in the region of Soest (for the third time in a row since 2013)
2018	Start of 3D printing of parts and components for series production
2019	Completion of the generation change in company management
2021	Ohrmann ranked 31st in the recently published TOP-50 assembly system construction ranking 2018 for Germany
2021	Start of laser marking for complete traceability of in-house manufactured spare and wear parts
